Thomas was born in Fawler in late 1887 or early 1888 and by 1911 was living in Windsor with his wife Annie and baby daughter Ellen.
Thomas enlisted in Windsor and was a private in Princess Charlotte of Wales’s (Royal Berkshire) regiment. He died in Flanders on 1 Jul 1916.
